How to set Rotary valve on 717

On the topic i this said How to set the rotary valve on the 717 i read the manual on line and just want to double check the settings with the members on here have alot Experience with seadoo engine.

I set the rotary valve for the HX 717 between 142 to 150 i took a picture with the Degree wheel on top of the valve and posted for you guy to see, i think i got it correct. Lol

You are sure MAG piston is at exactly TDC.

Yes the MAG piston is at TDC

I would flip the valve over ans see if you can get the opening edge closer to the 147 degree mark, looks like you are right at 145.

Yes i did but can't do it that the best i can do

If you have followed the instructions in the manual and tried flipping it to make sure that doesn't get you closer to the marks, than your there.

Dont over think it!
