How to remove vts module

You can’t remove just the module as it is part of the entire housing assembly.

To remove the entire unit unplug all electrical connectors. Remove the linkage from the outside then the clamps and boot then finally the outside retaining nut. Then it pulls out from the inside.

Yeah that’s what I meant, the whole assembly do I need a special tool to remove the nut? And the nut I need to remove it the one that is visible from the outside correct?

I used to make them out of pvc pipe. Find the size that’s close to the OD of the nut then heat the pipe with a heat gun and force it on and let cool. Then unscrew the nut. Only other way to get to it is to pull the pump.
