SCOM and X Module

I have a Riva SCOM fitted to an 2019 GTX 300 Limited and the BRS X Module won’t work with it. It will physically plug into the SCOM but Riva have said it’ll be non functional on a 2019 (works fine on a 2018). The functionality I’m interested in on the X Module is the full range VTS. Does anyone know if there’s another way of activating this, ECU flash or similar. I’ve trawled the web to no avail.
