Just wondering if anyone had any tips on making my older Doo Shine. I have waxed it a couple of times with non abrasive liquid wax (carnuba) and it still looks dull.

You might need to use a de-oxidizer first. In your case, I would recommend stripping off all the wax and such by washing with Dawn (it cuts more than grease out of your way! :) ). Then use a buffer and something like Meguiar's Oxidation Remover (M4916), or, if it's especially oxidized, Meguiar's Power Cut Compound (M9132). Then you can follow-up with a polish, like M4516 Polish and a good wax like M5616. Meguiar's has a kit that includes M4916, M4516 and M5616, but if your oxidation is particularly bad, you might need the M9132 (or an equivalent in your favorite brand--I've had nice results with Meguiar's with both autos and my boat).

I used very high grit(very fine) wet/dry sand paper with water. Very gentle circular motions taking a tiny bit of the paint (atleast that happen to me), but it also took off the dirt and small brown dots. I then took some polishing compound (fine white paste) and a wheel. Smooth the paste over the area and slowly wheeled it in. Then high speed buffed it out. From here it was already shining. Throw on a coat of wax to protect it. Do a small section first to see. It really brought back a shine to my faded paint

Use a medium grit compound made for the new clear coat paints.. I use Evercoat medium duty compound with a buffer.. It does a great job and leaves no oily residue..
