Hello, I have a 1994 Seadoo XP. My problem is that 2 of the stainless steel bolts in the exhaust manifold have broken off. I believe that they have Loctite on them, as I am having difficulty extracting them with an easy-out. Does anyone have any advice as to how I might be able to extract these broken bolts ?? Your advice would be greatly appreciated !! Thanks ~

Use the easyout but you need to use heat. Map gas will work but takes a lot of time. oxy/acel works great if you know what your doing so you don't melt your exhaust. After you get them out make sure you replace the bushings on the lower pipe. I would bet they are shot, thats why the bolts broke. You will need 4 of pn 293830006.

Thanks bunches for the advice. I ordered the bushings today, as that makes total sense. I hope to get at it this weekend and will let you know how it goes. Your time has been greatly appreciated !!

Or another option, would be to throw that manifold in the trash, I have about 50 of them at least, and for $35 I will pay the postage and send you one and you don't have to bust any more nuckles or buy and drill bits and easouts or cuss and kick your seadoo anymore. I will include all the bolts you need.

wabbitt - Do you have a manifold for a 94 XP? If so, how much and what form of payment? I am one of the lucky ones with an easy-out broken off and can't get it out... Thanks!
