How to check to see if gasoline is still good?

It’s starting to get warm out and we all know what that means! So I am getting my Seadoo ready for the water after being winterized. During the winterization process I filled my tank up with premium 91 and added stabil marine 360. I am here to ask how to tell if the gasoline is still good after being stored for 8 months. Stabil Marine 360 (blue stuff) claims to keep gasoline good for 12 months.

But for some reason I’m concerned my gasoline isn’t the best of quality because I got it from Casey’s General Store and someone told me that Casey’s isn’t “top tier” and it goes bad faster? I never even knew what “top tier” gasoline was... I thought gasoline was gasoline. Also I see tons of boats and other PWCs get their gasoline from this Casey’s all the time. Anyways during the storage process I read the Stabile Marine 360 instructions carefully and it says you can safely double dose the gasoline to ensure storage of gasoline stays fresh so I actually added a little more Stabil than what’s required. I also add the Stabil Marine 360 to every fill up. Any thoughts? Should my gasoline still be good?

Your gas will be perfectly fine.

That’s a relief to hear! Premium 91 isn’t cheap! Also a little off topic but last summer I changed my fuel lines and rebuilt carbs but after doing so I don’t get much pressure from the fuel tank anymore. Like when I first got the Seadoo when I opened the gas cap it would have so much pressure it would almost shoot out of your hands, but now I open the gas cap and no pressure. Is that bad? I mean last summer the Seadoo ran good hitting 55mph after new fuel lines and carb rebuild.
