How much Oil

Guys did my oil change last fall when I winterized unit, now I am questioning I put to much oil in. I bought a kit online, with spark plugs, oil filter etc. but my dipstick shows the oil at high. can it harm the unit with to much oil?

you will loose RPM and performance with too much oil in.. you want the oil to be about half way between the two dots when checking the oil

well i don't have two dots as the indicator, but there is what I would call dip or small "U" shape on dipstick, and I am just above that. don't the oil kits give you the correct amount of oil? I have a little leftover from it, so I thought I was fine. I made a mistake buy not adding then checking, to have the oil in the middle where it should be. should I drain some? RPM's are hitting 6000 to 7000 I think.

Your RPMs are low. You should see around 8100 for the supercharged skis and somewhere around 7400 for the non supercharged if I recall correctly.

mine is non-supercharged, at what speed are you talking about though? I was not talking full speed, just random speeds, as I can't recall other than just browsing down recently. Haven't looked a video yet, but thanks. So should I remove some oil?

At wide open throttle you should see something around 7400 rpm. That's where you'll be affected by too much oil.

And yes suck some out. You want to be about half way up in the "notch" in the dipstick.
