How does this flush kit work? Wrong one?

Hey guys, the first pic is the existing flush kit setup that's been on here since I bought it. It leaked a little when I flush the ski, so I just picked up a new one from Minnetonka4me (thanks Broseph)
Anyway, I figured I would just take the flush part off of the T And this would just quick connect to the T, as I've never seen the T before.
What do I need to get this hooked up? Slamming on making a HOMEY DEEEPOT trip
Thanks!

I gotta head out to the garage and do some work I'll crack the seat open on a ski and send you a couple pics of what that flusher end connects to, that *T* you have isn't going to work with it.

Ahh, yea bob just sent me a pic of his. I don't know WHERE the PO got that t from. Looks like I gotta get one of those. Thanks guys

What you seek is OEM PN#295000103 for that flush T, get a nice new one and take the o-ring off right away and go match it up with a handful of new spares that ring is really thin and they don't last long and or pop off into the never to be found again corner of the bilge when the flusher is pulled up and off and that fitting leaks bad without it in place.

Just one of those things it's nice to walk over to the tool box and grab a new one when you find it's needed on short notice, and they always fail or come up missing on short notice. Practically every ski I have winterized so far this year was missing it.

I don't use the flush port, all you need is an old washing machine hose, cut it in half and you've got two "flush hoses". Just connect it directly to the flush side of the head.

Lou I basically do the same thing! My ski has the T flush connector but never gets used. I just pop the cooling line off the head and pop on my makeshift flusher

Ahh, makes sense, for now, since I took the old one out, I just hooked the existing hose up minus the T.

So you guys are saying, since you're supposed to pinch the hose anyway when flushing, just take it off and put your flushing source directly to the head when flushing?
So essentially, you loosen the hose clamp, pull the hose off, flush, then put your hose back onto the head and tighten the hose clamp when done?

So then I might not need a T, but then I'll need a flathead screwdriver each time I flush?

Are you guys serious? That's just way too much work for me. Just start the ski, plug the factory flush line on and I give the old ski the reach around and stick a finger in the drain fitting on top left above the pump if I ride in salt water. If I ride in fresh water, I don't bother, just flush it without plugging the outlet. I also don't want to mess up the paint on my engine by taking the hoses on and off.

Ahh, I like the little giving the undercarriage a little bit of " how's your father?" With the ol reach around! I never thought of that racerxxx , bc I never even used a hose pinch anyway, I've just been kinking with my hand while flushing.. Probably not the best for the integrity of the hose.. I think I'll give her the old reach around!
