I get on the water about one day per week. I may take one or both 05" RXPs. This is what I was told/learned... I get back from the ramp and start my clean up. I ride in salt water so I connect my flush kit. I use the salt away when flushing the engines. I run the engine for about 30 to 45 seconds each with the flush. I read that the plate can get very hot and there are seals that do not like to be over heated because they are not in the water... Every other time I go out I will lightly mist down the engine area to remove salt in this area. If I do this I will keep the seat off so to let the engine area totaly dry...
I treat the engine area in my RXP just like my boat engine, it gets hosed down with SeaDoo lube guard. You know what it is and how it works..I hit everything in the engine compartment and I use a whole can on the two of them everytime I clean them ..I have battery tenders on both Doos and when they are parked... There pluged in...
The outside gets a good washing everytime and cleaning.. I use a conditioner on the seat to keep it and the plastic looking new. A good wax makes my Doos look like new... I bought covers for my SeaDoos ans they look great and fit like a glove...all in all I think I got the clean up covered...

If you have anything I have missed or have better thoughts please let me know.

Thanks,Slug-O

back in 1989 I had a Kawasaki JS 550. I used to put in a little palmalive dishdetergent which is a grease cutter and put a little hose water in there with it. Then I would ride around . It would shake it up and suds it up and keep my bilge clean. Then after every ride, I would wd 40 the whole entire engine and wipe it down. I bought it brand new and when I sold it it still looked brand new. I do miss that old ski it was pretty fast for it's time and I could do lots of tricks on it.....sadly I am not 19 -20 anymore and I doubt I could half the stuff I used to. I fondly remeber doing what we called "fire Hydrants" where we would flip around and sit on the nose to get it under the water and hit the throttle and shoot water straight up in the air. It was especially fun under a bridge when the cars were going buy...we used to try and get the cars....crazy kids
