So the story goes...blew up the last motor because the oiler cable came out of the keeper.
Bought and installed SBT long block.
Bled the oil line coming from tank to oiler by removing the bleeder screw (while motor was off).
The small hoses that go from pump to the intakes are clear and have oil in them.
So here is the million dollar question (I will write u an IOU if you answer because i don't have a million bucks)...
If I don't see any air bubbles going through the line and the line is filled with oil...how do i know if oil is flowing?
I started up the ski with the oiler held wide open but didn't see any smoke coming out the exhaust...it was in the garage and i only let it run for about 20 seconds...but since it was in an enclosed space, i was expecting the garage to fill with smoke.
I know that you guys will probably recommend going to the premix method (which i would prefer also) but there are going to be many times when other people are using the ski and that is a recipe for disaster...people have a lot of trouble figuring out the ratios for some reason.
Thanks in advance for your help guys
