How did my jet pump blow apart?

I let my wife take out my 787 challenger and here is how it came back, no rocks stuck in there and impeller isn't damaged, the bronze pump was replaced with the plastic wsm pump 2 years ago and 10 hours total. Bearing seem fine, what the hell happened?
