Just replaced the wear ring and saw that the impellar had some good chips missing from the leading edge side. I'd replace it if I had more time but I gotta take them to lake tomorrow for a lake test.
What amount of chipping or dents to the leading edge is too much that will cause cavitiation?

You really need to add you seadoo model and year so we know which one you own...4-tec or 2 stroke? The measurement is different.

Measure the clearance.

Wear Ring clearance for non 4-tec 1.0 mm or (.040in)
Wear Ring clearance for ALL 4-tec 0.035 mm or ( .014in)

Wear Ring clearance for your seadoo 1.0 mm or (.040in) Measure the clearance at the center of the impeller blades, with a 12” long gauge. Measure the clearance from the venturi side of the jet pump.

Thanks Karl.

It's a 1998 Gti 2 stroke.

i just replaced the wear ring but am concerned about the impeller.

It's not the clearance that concerns me so much since I just replaced the wear ring. (though I don't have the gauge to measure) It's more the leading edge being dinged up.

Considering you can get it refurbed for $25, I think its a good idea to just do i over the winter, I think for most people, if its bad enogh you are asking here, it nees to be done.
