I had a rave valve snap off at the stem. Put a new valve & cleaned the other.
Ran the ski today and the new rave valve was mutch hotter than the other.
The head & exaust was cool on both cylinders. But the top of the plastic rave valve was hotter than the other. It ran good. Any idears what would cause this?

possibly the oil injection fitting is get'n clogged. The "hole" that releases pressure into the rave bellow is clogged and/or on the housing....

I confirmed the vent holes were not clogged. A can of carb cleaner.
new bellows etc. the head stays cool. the left valve is too hot to touch.
the right valve is hot, but i could hold my hand on it. ??
I don't want to blow it up !!
