Hope someone can help ASAP. 3d issues

ok took the 2004 3d out of storage from winter. turned over and ran. put it in the water and it ran just fine. had no issues. rode it for about 5-7 min then it stumbled and started to barly run. got it back to the house. no alarms or warnings. pulled the plugs and they were wet. swapped out the plugs and it would turn over and almost start. then I dropped a plug in the bilge and reached for it and found oil in the bilge. so I don't know what would prevent it from starting all of a sudden. it turns over. if the engine was seized it wouldn't turn over. even without oil it should start. next where would the oil be coming from. guessing i didn't get all the water out this winter but it ran great for some time first. don't know what would prevent it from running and why an oil leak would do that. any ideas? plz help
