High Speed Screw

Ok someone took the plastic cat off my high speed screw (the one that has a stop on either side it makes full roatations)... So i'm tryin to get it back to factory zero. I have read from 3 turns out to 0 turns out or in tight. Some of the boat guys say 0 turns out but this is a jet ski. It's a 1993 seadoo sp 580. Please help.

Your high speed screw should be closed on a 93 Sp.

Thank you so much there was so many different posts saying different things. This thing was all screwed up literally the guy that owned it before me had it out 1 1/2 turns it just flooded when you started it. He had the oil dumping in too, the pump was off. it matched but was too much of both. I guess he never herd about the forum lol. thanks again!
