OK got a problem here.

I took the carbs away and cleaned the inline filters.
I changed all the gray fuel lines.
I put things togheter again.

Fired her up, idles at 4300 rpms.
Throttle up and she just runaways. Give her a touch on the throttle and realeases and engine will stay on that rpm. For example. increase throttle to 5000rpms...releases throttle and engine will now idle at 5000 rpms.
Give her full throttle and hell breaks loose and engine will runaway out of control.

What have I missed?
Sucking air from gaskets?
Idle speed adjustments?

Need som serious help.

Best

???? it's possible, but probably not, or the throttle trigger probably would not return... somebody might chime in on this one... did you set ur carbs back to spec... and are they CLEAN CLEAN... you might be running a lil lean!!

Yes I cleaned everything up.
The strange thing is that the revs are not going down when releasing throttle. When I choke it it revs down to "normal" for a sec or two. But then continues back up to idle on 4300rpms.

Maybe prevoius owner has done somehting with the screws beacuse she ran rough. Now when everything is clean it maybe be the wrong settings.
Where is that idle screw placed? is it that screw that is on MAG carb on top?

i believe so... the one kind of towards the front af the mag...but if you put them back to spec... that isnt ur problem, from my understanding if ur lean ur boat will scream too, and if thats the case you keep runnin it lean it will lock uo... and bye bye summer fun!!! let some of the older more experienced guys chime in and see what they say!
