We have a 2010 Sea-Doo GTX 215 with about 26 hours on it. We we're out on the water all day today ran about half a tank of gas in it then it dies...click click click click start but then no power then it cuts out for about 10 minutes....try it again and it fires up but no power. I checked under the grate, nothing that I can grab that may be in the intake. I'm thinking fuel pump? It runs a little rough too when we finally get it started. Any Info will help! Thanks guys!

Click click click is your starter relay going bad. The poor running and shutting off is likely a seperate problem. If you take the seat off and put the lanyard on the post, you should be able to hear the fuel pump cycle for a few seconds building up fuel pressure and then it'll deactivate... this is normal. Could you have bad gas or trash in the fuel tank? Or water in the gas, that'd cause your symptoms also! Siphon some gas out of the tank with a hose and into a styrofoam cup and see if there's any signs of water bubbles in it or trash.

well it calls for high octane and they put 87 grade in it? could this be related? We filled it up on dry land then put it in the water so I can't see how water got in the fuel.

Dunno... you can add a bottle of 104+ Octane booster to the tank and see what that does. The fuel could have been contaminated at the gas station they went to.

Do get a new starter relay though, you're is going out and it only get's harder to start!
