I have a 2004 sea doo GTX for tech. I was given this JetSki by a friend. It is set for a couple of years. I I am stumped at this point. I have change the fuel pump clean the fuel tank new fuel injectors new spark plugs. I had to have the cluster Gauge repaired. I still cannot get the cluster gauge to work at all. On the pin plug I have power to Pins 5, 6 and 8. When I put the key in I get one long beep and I can hear some kind of still no word on the top of the JetSki click and that’s it. I checked Z starter by jumping the starter still annoyed and it cranked. Any help you could give me would surely be appreciated. I have also checked all the fuses in the fuse bank. If you’re more fuses somewhere I haven’t found them. You guys are great thank you

On certain years,,you have to marry the cluster to the computer...not sure of yours,,,someone on here will know for sure.

2002-2005 is plug and play for the gauge so no flashing or marrying required. The long beep you hear is either for a wrong key or for a communication error with the gauge but it will run fine even without the gauge so that isn't your problem. Are you sure you have the correct key?

You still need to get 2 beeps which signals that it is ready to start. Are you getting that?

Hopefully somebody didn't try to jump start from a running vehicle which will ruin the mpem or ECU.

There are 2 main 30 amp fuses next to the solenoid.

Wow thanks for the help. Should the tops click on when I put the key on? I have power to the fuse panel
While the key is not on. When I put the key in I lose power to the fuses and solenoid clicks and I get either one long deeper too long beeps thank you so much for your help and I couldn’t find a 30 amp fuses anywhere..

Follow the pos battery cable to the solenoid, you should also see 2 smaller red wires that will have 30A fuses in line.

Yes, the TOPS valve should click when the key is put on and the fuel pump should prime the system.

It won't start until you get 2 short beeps.

Ok so I followed the pos and found no fuses. When I put the key in I get one long beep. The tops activates and the fuel pump comes on. Still no gauge. The gauge has power to it. It will start without the gauge? Also I ran a lead to the starter solenoid and the engine turned over. Still not sure why the fuses shut down when I put the key on. Thanks so much for your help.

Yes, it will start without the gauge even connected.

At the solenoid, there will be 2 smaller red wires connected on the same post as the battery cable which power all of your accessories. The fuses will be in black rubber holders near there. Post a pic of the solenoid and they will be close.

It will never start until you get 2 beeps. You should get 2 beeps when you put the key on and then one long beep if your gauge is not working or disconnected.

Thanks everyone so much. So when I test the fuse panel in the keys not on I have power when I put the key on the solenoid clicks in the fuel pump comes on and now the fuses have no power. Is this correct?

Oh and I forgot. Does the transmission have to be in neutral? Also do the seats all have to be on, are there any electronics in the seats?

There is no transmission. The forward/reverse lever has nothing to do with it starting or running as there is no neutral safety switch. There are no electronics in the seat which will have nothing to do with whether it will start or not. I suggest you get familiar with your seadoo by going through the service manual and more specifically the wiring wiring diagram which can be downloaded for free.

The fuse panel should not lose power when the key is on. That sounds like the mpem is bad.
