OK so i had a new 787 put in my GTX, for some stupid reason decided to go premix and eliminate the pump. Still breaking in the motor running 25-1 for a tankfull and started to have some carb problems. A blessing i think because there was no oil going to the valve (crank?) where ever that lower oil input goes, the guy who put this motor in blocked off the 2 small inputs at the base of the carb and the 5/16 oil line below the carbs which i am now told should be still hooked up to the tank, so question (s) are ... #1 damage ? did I do any #2 I am now reinstalling a pump, rebuilding the carbs (they were not done with the motor) and trying to get it all back together but I see 3 outputs from the oil tank, the 2 lower (one to the pump, the other to the crank, and there is one at the oil sensor cap, where does that go?
confused?
thanks in advance

The one at the top comes from a return line that starts from the opposite side of the case between the exhaust pipe and under the cylinders. Its a bugger to see without the pipe off.

1) Yes there can be damage. Once you get the intake manifold off... check the lash in the rotary valve shaft. Also, rotate the engine by hand, to make sure the gears aren't stripped.

2) the pic below will help you get things hooked up.

If the shop that did the work did it improperly, and caused damage... I would make them pay for any damage.

I run a clear hose from the back to the front oil lines on the engine with a T installed. That way you can top it up if it never goes down. Never had a problem with the Pump delete on my machine.
