I've had her parked on the side of the house for a few years and noticed some dark and sludgy oil(the light stuff) under the seat. My brother-in-law thought it would be a cracked oil tank or seal, but it doesn't appear to be leaking anywhere around it. I can't remember it running bad last time I was out so I'm hoping it is nothing major. If it is a leak in the oil line would it be so dark and sludgy after sitting for a long time? Any thoughts?

You have two small oil lines that carry oil from the injection pump to each side of the Rotary valve cover to inject the oil into the gas & air mixture as it enters the cylinders lower case. These lines crack and become brittle after 3-4 years then
leak and just fall off from deterioration. The Failure gives the injection pump a bad rap when someones engine implodes. You need to replace & prime the RV oil lines Immediatly!!! Read the Maintainance section of your Factory Service Manual on the replacement proceedure, as other mantenance items may have gone neglected. We
can help you more if you can post the mantenance history you are aware of, and the grease, additives, corrocive protectants, oils, and coatings used. Bills86e
