I got a '95 SPEEDSTER as partial payment for some work I did for a friend. Put in new batteries and headed to the river, Ran perfect for the first 5-10 minutes and then the port side engine shut off....Port engine would not start so loaded the boat and went home........When I got home the engine started and idled fine?? Put in new plugs and headed back to the water few days later. Again,,,, The boat ran PERFECT for about 15 minutes then the port engine again shut down..........We were about 5 miles from the boat ramp so got a tow back up river, when I got the boat back to the ramp, sure enough, it started up and took it for a quick run up river and then loaded it up.......Yesterday, took a friend out on boat and once AGAIN it ran fine for 15 minutes but then port engine shut off again. Unlike the other times it now will no longer start back up.......If you attempt long enough you can get it to barely idle and if you give it the throttle it will only reach about 1500 RPS and begin to backfire???

ALL Three times when the engine shut down I was running full throttle?

PLEASE HELP!! ANY IDEAS SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE MOST HELPFUL

you should have stopped after the first mishap. Something was defintly wrong and now, its probably too late. Pull the spark plugs and do compression test. If both jugs are above 125-ish, then your good, and think you'll need to attend to the carbs.

Be sure the seadoo has clean fuel and you might want to pull the carbs off and clean them. If it has gray fuel lines they need to be replaced also. They tend to deteriorate over time and clog the carbs also, so if you clean the carbs you should replace the fuel lines too. You'll need about 14 ' of fuel lines. Get it from like Auto Zone and replace one at a time so you don't get mixed up. I would check the compression too while your at it. Ideally, they should be 150 psi.
