Help timing chain tensioner

I could use help timing chain tensioner cap plug is stripped. any ideas how to remove it?

Drill a hole in the plug and use a left tap to remove.

Thanks , i thought of that but was concerned with shavings falling into the case, I ended up sharpening a chisel to make a groove on the side to tap it around.

Good you managed to do it like that.
The risk is small as the tensioner piston is behind the cap so no metal can get in the engine. But better to go for a less disturbing method first!
