Help PLEASE!!! Removing battery from 2013 Seadoo Wake

Hey everyone!!

I am new to seadoo's and I just purchased a 2013 seadoo wake this past summer. It's now time to winterize it however I can't get the casing out of the front storage compartment... It has 2 parts that are somehow connected together before you can access the battery. Can't figure out how to get it apart, please help???

Also, how do I go about taking the battery out. It looks like there is a lot of wiring attached to and around the battery. Looks to be very complicated and I definitely don't want to mess this up. Any steps on how to remove the battery would greatly help. Thanks!!!!

Casing is assembled like a clamshell. Be sure to remove the 2 screws at the base of the holder. A real PITA but doable. Ps be carefull not to drop the screws as they fall into unreachable spots at bottom of hull.
Should only have to disconnect wiring directly on the battery posts.
