Trying to remove the carb on a 97 GTS 717 motor. The bolt frozen in the carb body. I know in frozen in the carb, because when I try to rotate it, with opposite carb bolt removed, it tries to rotate the carb. I have put the other bolt back in to hold the carb, tried penetrating oil, and tried heating the carb body with a small butane torch. No luck.
I am afraid, if I put any more torque on the wrench, I am going to strip the socket head. Any ideas how to get this thing loose?
Thanks

Do you have an impact screwdriver?

If you take the other bolt out is there room for the carb to spin around and get it off the engine?

Electric impact gun and try back and forth untill it moves.

Take the manifold off and do it on the bench where you can rotate the carb.
Once it's off the manifold you can spray it from the other side.

No room for an impact driver, or to spin the carb on the engine.
Taking the manifold off is my next step, although, I need to pull the engine, so maybe I can get it off with the engine out. Need to pull it because the mount bolts, that hold the engine to mount plate are loose. :( Found that while trying to get the carb bolt loose.
