Help! 2014 Spark 3up IBR no start/battery drain w no key

OK so my 2014 C do spark 3 up ibr after sitting for the Winter the battery was dead so I charged it and now when I connect the battery the gauges go on in its sons a long beep and nothing happens and all this occurs with the key not even on when I clip the key on it doesn't change it And it won't start

OK, this is NOT a condescending remark...so please do NOT take it that way......IS there any chance that you put the battery in backwards??? POS to NEG and NEG to POS?

I’ve found that if you don’t keep your batteries on a battery maintainer, they’ll go dead due to sulfication. You can look that up about batteries on the web.

I put all my batteries that aren’t in daily use on a maintainer.

Three years and your battery is shot. I’m going on six years with maintainers. Keep in mind, you need sealed batteries for these to work. I made the mistake of using a maintainer on a vented battery and boiled all of the acid out and thus it’s shot.
