Hey. Just got back from the cottage. My brother in law brought up his 2 new seadoos... and now I have a new addiction.

I haven't had time to schmooze this site very much but my plan is to buy a cheap (broken) used one at the end of this season and rebuild it.

Would like a stand up model but not a 2 stroke... such a thing? wondering if there is any make/model from back in the day that is gem. (If you can find one)

Suppose I might find a stand up shell and Frankenstein a 4 stroke in there? Lol.

The only 4-stroke stand up you will find is the new Kawasaki and they are big expensive tanks.

Even as a swap a 4-stroke standup would not be practical due to the weight and you can't get water into a 4-stroke or you will ruin it. And on a standup you will get water into the engine at at some point.

If you really want a standup just find an older Superjet and enjoy the 2-stroke fun.

2-strokes are more playful, lighter and less expensive than a 4-stroke.
