Welcome to the best SeaDoo forum and you are correct in discovering it is a helpful and friendly place.
I grew up in Ketchikan, but that was way before PWC. If they were available I probably would have had one even though pretty challenging water to ride in.

Running in salt water is a challenge. The corrosion will kill a jet ski if not meticulously washed and greased after every outing.
