having a hard time remove the left mirror on my rx

i wanted to know if anyone knew how to remove the mirrors on the rx, i was able to remove the right side mirror, but was long and didnt have much space to work with, but the left one, is blocked by the speed guages wires and the gauge.

same boat just tried today... snap on flex wrench worked for me,,, was a nightmare but got it off, question is putting it back on....

be SUPER careful when taking off mirrors...if the nut spins inside the mirror housing you are SOL. I spray them with lube and go real slow with hand tools.

the right mirror came of easily because there is nothing blocking the screws when they come off, but the left one is blocked by the wires of the gas gauge... so do i have to take of the gas guage to be able to take the screws out? is there an easier way the accessing it from the front storage compartment?

The gauges push out easy just push them forward.
