hi,

Since i have my PWC GTI 130 2010 when the motor is heat , it's difficult to re-start,
when cold the starter run perfectly if the battery is charge of course.

after a run, sometime the motor is slow to start like a low batterie.

Now, it's permanent, impossible to re-start my pwc. i have changed the batterie by a new one, but it's the same thing. I have check all the wire aand bypassed the start relay = same . the motor is too slow for start. i have changed the starter last year thinkning this is the starter but no, when heat, it's like the batterie is too low.

Is the bendix starter or gear is used ??
the AMP increase very hard because cable are hot after attempt to start.

is somebody know this problem ??

thanks

Pull the spark plugs out and start the engine with the throttle at full. The full throttle will cut off the fuel to the injectors. Look at the plugs for oil or rust.

Hi
Spark plugs are clean but
When i start without Sparks plugs the motor turn 1 to 2 cycle and immediatly the bendix gear disengage and the starter turn alone.

Hi
Thanks
I have full charged the batterie and replaced by a new it's same.
Even i have replaced the stater by a new Last year ?
Why gear disengage in this case without spark plugs
Regards

Button switch on the handle? Wiggle that when you try starting. The start switch have failed on some PWCs.

Try cleaning the battery and relay connections. And clean the ground on the engine. I ran an extra ground wire from the battery to the starter mounting bolt.
If that works, coat the connections with LPS3 or SeaDoo preserve oil.
