Handlebar switch questions

Having this 95 XP 717 brought to me in pieces, and trying to get it finished up, I have a question about the handlebar switches I’m unfamiliar with. I’ll try to post a picture of what I got. Missing the lanyard yet so have to get one. What is broke or what is missing on the switches that you can see?

VTS Button cover. Tip: make sure there is a plastic rod in the inside rubber hole of the button cover.
