I bought a 2003 GTX 4TEC Wake edition this winter. I had it up on my lift cleaning the bottom and the ingrate and ride plate is oxidized pretty bad. The previous owner kept it on his dry dock all summer long. I am going to replace the ingrate but I was wondering how to clean up the ride plate and if I could paint it or just leave it alone.
