I've got a 1992 GTX we;re having electrical issues with.

Here's the deal we can't get it to fire off the ignition but once you cross the solenoid it turns over fine. But once it starts to spin we have NO SPARK.

Any ideas would be much welcomed. THanks in advance

If it's not cranking from the starter button... then you aren't getting power past the electrical box.

The early skis are very simple... and nothing keeps them from cranking, but the power for the ignition (rev limiter) comes back from the kill switch, and starter button.

Just check the wires.

Didn't see any major wire problems when we went through it last night. Any idea parts wise what could be wrong. Ignition coil? Ignition Switch? I have access to a match that I can swap parts out of until I get the right one, just looking for the most logical place to start. New to the sea doo world and just want to get it in the water after several weeks of work.

Thanks

Found red wire from the MPEM that is not connected anywhere. Looking at the wiring diagram it appears to go to the rectifier. Would this prevent the engine from having a spark.
