I had my 94 GTX out on Monday it ran fine for about 20 or 30 minutes then it died. Was hard to crank up after it died but let it sit for a couple minutes and it cranked easy and started but never would run right. Checked the compression tonight and both cylinders had 135 psi. any help would be appreciated.

Sounds fuel related. Has your fuel system been redone. Do u have gray fuel lines? Also anytime that they start dying try running on reserve. That will tell u if the fuel selector is clogging.

I just bought the ski last weekend. It does still have gray fuel line.

Beeper is located underneath the handlebar pad. You can test the beeper. With the engine running, disconnect the over heat sensor, its on top of the motor, and ground the wire that connects to the sensor. It should beep.

You need to redo the fuel system. Rebuild carbs with oem kits. See the carb rebuild thread. Replace fuel lines and fuel selector. Don’t run it anymore until u do. If it’s running lean on fuel as I suspect it is you will burn up your pistons.

What is the best fuel line to use to replace the old ones. Do i need to get it from a Seadoo dealer or will gas line from O'Reillys work. Any idea how many feet is needed.

O'Reillys is ok 1/4 inch need about 25 feet to do all but vent lines
just new hose not enough -- rebuild carbs genuine Mikuni only needles & seats don't come in the kits buy seperate

The carbs were rebuilt last year. Should i go ahead and rebuild them again.

with Mikuni? needels & seats?
Look for member Mikidymac's carb rebuild - excelent step by step

If they rebuilt the carbs but left the gray lines they didn't know what they were doing and probably plugged the new kits and I would be suspicious the used Genuine Mikuni parts.
