I have an issue with both my skis that happened back to back this weekend. The 01 gtx rfi got waterlogged . We flipped it back over and it had taken on loads of water. enough that we almost lost her. I bailed it all out, removed the plugs and turned it over, and over and over until i got most the water out. Put new plugs in and got it running again. Now the hi-temp warning and buzzer go off and on while riding. No change in performance, just annoying. Hoping this is the temp sensor. ANY help????? The gx is fouling plugs. Like every mile or so. Thinking the oil injection is stuck open. Maybe an oil block off and go premix?????? Any help is greatly apprecitated. Thanks.

on the GTX... check the sensor.

On the GX... if you want to go pre-mix... do it... but I would figure out why it's pumping too much oil, and fix it. Chances are.. the cable broke, and it went to full.

Thanks Doc. Ordered the sensor today. And ordered the block off for the GX and the GTX. Since the GTI's are already pre-mix, might as well do these too.:D.

Yep... if you are already dealing with pre-mix... might as well have all of them that way.

Decided to not premix because both skis are fuel injected. On the gtx the cable from the throttle bodies to the oil pump has come off or broke. The arm on the oil pump is not moving. Guess thats why im getting the hi temp warning. Just hope i havent melted the pistons. So with this decision what could be making me foul the plugs on the GX. Is there a setting on the oil pump to adjust flow? And ive heard about these rookie mistakes when removing the carbs that the oil pump arm swings around to far. The engine is brand new, maybe 10 hours. So its all been disassembled.
