GTX 99 Limited - wont exceed 30 mph

fuel tank was full of junk and i cleared that up. in line filter cleaned. plugs replaced. fuel switch cleaned. prior to all of this, i would get it to run up to 50 ish, but always had to use choke to get it going. i have the grey fuel lines...how do they impact performance? had it out today, and for the first hour it would run 30, then the final run to boat ramp was 10-12 mph best for 30 minutes. it the motor going into limp home mode? suggestions on where to take this next?

Your fuel circulatory complete system needs up-dated. Your carbs need gone thru.
Check your compression to see if you've damaged the motor by running it lean. Bills86e

Bill, can you suggest a GOOD tech in the Tampa area? I can do a lot of this stuff, but work 13 hour days and have no spare time after taking care of kids and wife. thanks John
