Hello ,
I need some help figuring this out, i rebuilt the carbs and started the engine before connecting the plastic water RESONATOR above the battery. the ski runs and idles great now I hook up the water chamber and start the engine it races full throttle I unhook the hose and it runs great again. I don't have to kill the engine to see the change from connecting the hose to the plastic water RESONATOR ..there is no restrictions I can put my hand over the hose or the chamber with no change in idle..

thanks for any help...

do you have the hoses hooked up backwards im sure there are 2 on that model one pull one push if im not mistaken
try it and post results

you may have turned your air screws on the carbs too much and when you hook up that hose it is not getting enough or too much air

just started her up with the resonator not connected sprayed some carb cleaner by the carb gaskets and it bogged down and smoked pretty good so i guess i must have lost one or both during the install. gonna tear it all apart again to see later this week ... thanks brock1 for your input
