I have a 2011 GTX 155 with 45 hours. I have noticed of late that it has gotten slower. I have clocked it at a top speed of 93 km/hr. last summer. This summer the fastest I can get now is 88 km/hr on a calm day. Any suggestions as to why this could be? look forward to the comments

Could be MANY things but lets look at some if the simple stuff.

Wear ring Is a common issue and by design wears. The max gap from the impeller to the wear ring should be the thickness of a dime.

Are you getting any cavitation?

Classic first sign of a wear ring that has damage/wear. It usually kills too speed and develops cavitation during hard acceleration. The more powerful the ski the more obvious the cavitation will be. Your 155 may not be very noticeable compared to a sc ski but its there for sure. Remove the jet pump and check to make sure there isn't anything stuck in there such as a stick. If it is clear check for wear and you'll most likely find that the gap between the impeller and wear ring is far too large.

From a dead stop if you accelerate hard you'll feel the ski hit the rev limiter a few times. That's what's called cavitation.
