GTR 215 Poor acceleration

I have a 2013 GTR 215 with 18 hours on it. I bought it new last summer and it ran great. I put it away for the winter. I brought it out yesterday and it seems to have an acceleration problem out of the hole. Once it planes out and the RPM's are up it works fine.

Any ideas?

if it isn't revving up out of the hole, change your spark plugs.

if it's revving but just not going, change your wear ring.

Thank you ski-d00. It isn't revving out of the hole and I did pick up some spark plugs today. I will put them in and post the results.

I changed the plugs and wow what a difference. Not sure why they had a problem with just 18 hours on them but thanks for the help.

Look up thur your grate. I bet your impeller leading edge is damaged. I just fix the one on my RXT. It would run fine cruising, but the engine would rem up and no push. Nothing out of the hole. Your wear ring can be a little worn.

9 out of 10 times you have this problem it will be the plugs. These SC 4techs love to eat up plugs.
