GTI 130 question

Hi guys
is there a way to turn the motor over without using the starter. (2011 GTI)
Not pulled the rubbers of the drive shaft yet but wondered if this is possible.

What do you mean..."turn it over"?

If you mean start it?...no...never seen one fire w/o a starter.

You can turn the motor...though. Pull spark plugs....turn shaft by hand.

thanks for this, did not need to start motor just turn it enough to get the fogging spray straw out from the cylinder.
Job done using long alligator forceps, must remember to hang onto the straw next time!!!!!
