Just had the washers replaced, second time using the ski, it stops. I removed the SC and found that the rod had snapped where the bolt was. now the rest of the SC in floating in the engine somewhere.

has anyone experienced this before?

........this is a first!

As a reader of all threads and posts started in the forum, I have not heard of this problem. You stated that you just had the washers replaced. Was it to the stainless slip washers or did they go back with the ceramic ones.

I'd first look in your oil filter for the pieces you've lost. If there is no sign of them, they'll be in the bottom of the crank case..........

Sorry to hear of your misfortune.:(

They did fit the proper washers, tho I think they over tightened the bolt that was holding it all together.

The Seadoo center is taking responsibility for the damage and cost of all repairs.

iv attached photos, you will noticed that half of the tread is missing on the SC rod.

(my HTC phone is really bad at taking close up pic's)
