Looking at a 2016 RXT-X 300 with a trailer for 16021 OTD with plates.

Is this a good deal?

I am new to the PWC community and am not sure if this is a good deal for it being closer to the end of the season. It sounds good as it was quite a bit lower than what the other dealers in my area offered me.

My understanding is dealers don't have much room to move the price on new 2016s. I just looked at that model two weeks ago here on the OBX and the OTD price was $17k. So with that said its better than the offer I could get. I chose to go with a New leftover 2015 rxpx 260 because of the price $13k OTD and the engine having been around longer. I don't like to buy the first year of anything until I know there aren't any major flaws. I'll add that I'm new to sea-doos and others are more capable of answering your question.

Appreciate the response Deacon. Funny your comment on first model years, I an an engineer in auto manufacturing and that is exactly the moto I follow when looking at new and exciting vehicles. My rationalization here was that the new engine is based on the old one, and not a completely new one, maintenance "free" supercharger, and basically (from my understanding), subtle but functional improvements to the overall design of the craft. Moving the battery to the middle of the vehicle, expanded storage space, etc.

I will let you guys know if the deal goes through, should know by Monday.

Not bad based on they are basically 15 grand.

If you buy it, make sure they do the Head Bolt TSB. It must get replaced or serious engine damage can happen.
