I did that once in the intracoastal waterway here in surfside. They weren't quite that close, but there were like 20 or 25 of them all around me.

There was a crowd of folks on the shore just watching them swim around me. I just cut my motor and splashed my hands and feet in the water to keep them jumping and moving around. They only got within maybe 20 feet of me, at the closest.

Great stuff...on the way back from the last meet n greet with this forum, we had a dolphin playing alongside our jet boat all the way up the channel...

My daughter was going crazy...

In my neck of the woods we see dolphins all the time... I still love to see them swimming around and never tire of it.
