got spx oil an was going to drain tank when i noticed these things please see pics

hey guys thank you for all your help an input everyone here had something good to add to each others coments like we are all on the same team its very nice!:Dwell i was looking at removeing my oil tank when i noticed on my gas tank one of my 4 lines was broke off before i hook it back up i wanted to make sure it goes back on .an then the other picture is of theoil tank there looks like there should be a hose connected to the nipple (ha i said nipple) wow im still 3 years old! anyway can you please look at the pics an tell me if some hose connets to the top of the oil do-hicky thanks guys you are all great help001.JPG004.JPG005.JPG
 
Looks like a broken line at the baffle.
the "nipple" is a breather/check valve. Nothing goes on it.
I would replace all the fuel lines and clean the carbs and the selector valve. Basically redo the fuel system while you are at it.
 
i agree, and i wish seadoo could have put a sticker on "this nipple intentionally left blank" somewhere, would have saved about 25,000 people feeling the need to figure out what connects to it :)

<< personally not a fan of the clear lines, but i'm not saying change them just suggesting that you check them for brittleness, i'm still an old school guy that like plain ole regular black braided line, no matter how boring it might look.
