I'm assuming it's leaking from one of the aluminum plugs. You need to remove the exhaust and take it to have it welded. I've heard of people using jb weld for a temporary fix but since it's the off season you really need to fix it the right way and have it welded.

No problem. They should grind out the current plug and weld in a new one.

I did the JB weld thing, and 4 seasons latter, still works :)

I also did some prep by cleaning it, but really it was that easy. it's a glob on there, not super pretty, but seriously, 4 years later, and still no issues...

Good to hear that sabr toothsqrl i go check how much they charge me for weld that piece if they charge me alot, i try use the jb, thanks

I had both of mine welded for $20. Well worth the added insurance.. I'd suggest the jb weld thing if I were like at a lake for a long weekend or a week, just to get through, but then I'd take it to get it welded right

I hope they not charge me alot, my friend told me aluminum weld is expensive, i go check today after work

If you pull it. Weld ALL OF THE plugs. If not, you will be pulling it off again.

I am sure the cost is not much more to fix one plug or 4 plugs. I seen the JBWeld stuff putting in some steel screen in there to help make it stronger. That damn stuff does work if you prep it right but you have it out so get it welded now good for another 20 years.

Well, if you want to do it the right way I make the plugs to have welded on.

One more for the JB weld fix. Left the pipe mounted, taped around the leaking area, very small dab of JB and been going strong for 4 years and serious abuse. Mine was a very small leak, size of a pin hole. If it were more serious I'd have it welded.

I had mine welded. Perfect job. I had the jb weld before. In fact, I suspect my engine to have been destroyed because of a hole not fixed properly and flooded because of that.

Thanks for all recommendation guys, racer those plugs look good, but i just need one if i need it, cause the mpower say my leak is not big,is like a pin hole in just one plug, but i'm thinking right now, i have already the pipe out and maybe paint, my quiestion now is can i paint on the jb weld? If not racer how i can get those plugs from you?

I've JB welded but it's hit or miss. When it's a miss it does not only start filling the hull with water but it causes the engine to run hot. Worse yet is that many times the water shoots toward where the engine draws in air. You can trust the welded ones.

Ok, all of u guys have more experience than me on the pwc cause i just have mine one week ago, i decide to weld the plug :)

They all start as a pin hole and once you grind it down slowly you can see just how close they are are to follow. You can send me a private message and I can get you my paypal info. If you go this route you will also need an exhaust gasket. It's definitely a little more involved going this route.

You do what you want to do, but I am telling you from VAST experience. If one is leaking, the others WILL leak...

It is typically only the two on the bottom when the pipe is installed. The two on top are usually fine. It is the water sitting in the bottom ones that corrodes through.

Thanks coastiejoe im going change the 4 of them

The bottom ones for sure. The uppers don't have water sitting on them in most cases when the engine is off.

If I ever own a two stroke, I'll drill, tap, and install a drain plug in the exhaust.
