951,reed valves.I have decided to go premix for a variety of reasons and need some confirmation please. There is 3 lines on the oil pump. One large that is the oil in line and 2 small, that are the oil out(injection) lines.
Is the large in line, the only one that needs to be blocked?
Can the 2 small lines be left as they are?
My other question is about the pump.
Is it ok to be left as is.With no oil,can it lockup or burn out.
These are my last questions before I do the deed.
(There is no RV on this motor.)Any input would be great.Thankyou in advance.

at best, is to remove the pump, and disregard the white shaft connected to it, which is protruding from the crank. If not, then cap the feed oil line (big line) and "loop" the small oil lines, thats if you cant get to the lines/pump, themselves.

Thanks Seadooya(clacker) for you reply.
Well.I got it all apart.Carbs off.Header pipe off.Oil pump off.(skin on knuckles off)
I was going your suggestion to premix and wanted to remove the oilpump teflon drive.I wanted to do it right.Mate.I have got it this far and I might see if I can find another oil pump. The small keyway that locks the cable cam to the shaft has broken. If I can find one,I will install it after testing it.
Once I got it all apart,I found out I could not get the teflon connector out.I may as well do it once and do it right. It's still winter here and the temps are22-27 degrees C.So I still have a lot of rider ahead of me before summer.A few weekends off the water won't kill me.If you can add any ideas to what I should do whilst at this stage,or anyone else,it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all for your help and assistance
