Getting water out of muffler
I’ve got (2) 2003 GTX 4-tec’s and I have a question. We’ve got Quagga mussel restrictions here in California. When you show up at the lake, they make you start up the skis. If any water dribbles out, you get sent home. These skis have been sitting since last summer and water still dribbles out when I start them. I’ve jacked up the front of the trailer and started them while on a steep hill, yet water still dribbles out when they start.

So my question is, is there a way to drain the muffler? Can I pull off a hose and siphon the water out? It’s literally been nine months and water is still coming out.

Thanks

I got water in mine from a bad flush and ended up taking it out of the ski and tipping it every which way to get all the water to drain out. Must be baffles and weirs inside trapping the water.

Will the water in that muffler hurt anything if theres a little in there? I moved mine every which way and got most out..but still some in there
