Ok I got one more question here, what tool do you use to test the PSI? I have searched for what I thought I needed and can not find it.
 
What exactly do you mean by bottoming out the plug?

I turned the plug until it got hard/tight just like a normal bolt/nut.

I'm 99.99% sure it's not stripped but it tightened up real good, so is it hitting the shaft and that's why it got tight or will it get tight in the plastic threads and I'm good?
