gas sensor magnet

U pulled the sender tube out and noticed its missing the magnet don't see it no were. Were can I find one.

I pulled my other skis and the magnet was in there. I jamed it back in the float and put it all back together wala I got a gas gauge again. Now the other one I need a magnet. Were could it of gone and how.

The magnet should have fallen down to the bottom of the sender unit. Possibly when the bottom of the unit came loose it dropped into the tank.
You can buy a replacement float w/magnets online. There are several references in the forum.

i looked everwere and no magent, i took the bottom piece off and nothing fell out so maybe it is stuck up there in the unit somewere if i had one of those little magnet sticsk i would of stuck it up in there, i just ordered this

i found mine with a cheap fridge magnet on a string in the bottom of the tank and used some epoxy for plastic w/ everything from C.A.P. that was laying around to put the magnet to the foam float and it's been like that for 2 years!
