FYI,,,2 Stroke misfire/dead miss

Before you spend a lot of money or time throwing parts at your ski...take the time to trim your plug wires at the boot and replace your NGK boot(available at NAPA) .... also replace your wire connector at the same time(usually a 90* crimp on most 2 strokes) This will illuminate most misfire conditions.

In 25 years of working on these I have never had to replace one of the sparkplug boots. Simply remove them, trim 1/4” off the wire and reinstall the original boot has always fixed any issues.

Normally that is correct... however in this case I boot had dry cracks and not worth the risk of reusing considering the low cost of new boots at Napa.
