Fuel Selector Switch

I Have a 1994 seadoo GTS can you bypass the fuel selector switch. I am thinking that if you take the reserve fuel line right to the fuel filter and plug the on line and remove the out line it should work. Has anybody ever tried this. I have a bad seal at the bottom of the fuel selector switch and want to get this unit on the water this weekend and my parts place does not have a selector switch in stock.

Hi, and welcome to the SeaDoo forum.

Exactly, except I would use the main tank, that way if you accidentally run out of gas you'll still have about 3 gals. If your gas gauge works and you trust it go ahead and use the reserve hose.
